Text Analysis

When you use the "Check if it's Slop" feature, the text you submit is analyzed in real-time and is not stored on our servers. We do not retain, log, or associate submitted text with any user identity.

Chrome Extension Reports

When you click "it's slop" via our Chrome extension, we collect: the platform (e.g. Reddit, LinkedIn), a hash of the content URL, and the author name of the flagged post. If you are authenticated, your user ID is associated with the report for leaderboard purposes. If anonymous, we store a hash of your IP address for abuse prevention only.

Anonymous Improvement Data

We use aggregated, anonymous data from "it's slop" reports to improve our detection algorithms. This data is stripped of personally identifiable information before analysis.
